GUEST BOOK

Thoughts of Logan and Dixie at the Windsor Forest Golden Age Center and at the Gee Chee Club dances bring back many happy memories. I will remember Logan in my prayers.

Hello Dixon Clan, Just a few words to let you know of my heart felt empathy in the death of Logan. He was not only an inspiration but was most responsible for my profession of faith in Jesus Christ and learning about missions outside of my parents. His gifts to me through the Royal Ambassador program and as a friend of the family are second to none. As a Brother in Christ his influence on my life is superb! Your Dad, Grand Dad, Great Grand Dad or whatever relationship, was that of a genuinely honorable and choice person. We were all blessed by his life. May your memories of him and these inadequate words bring you some solace as you learn to do life without his physical presence and look forward to the future reunion. Grace and Peace, Will Barnes

- Will Barnes, Savannah, GA

To the Dixon Family, We wish to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. After we lost a husband, father, and father-in-law, Henry G. Bynum, Jr., some 14 years ago we continue to attend the annual 428th MPEG Army Reunion as often as we can. Each year we saw Logan there, he always made the trip a little more meaningful for us. He will be missed not only by you but others as well. Sincerely, Evelyn Gary Bynum Gary Ann Bynum Burdeshaw Jack Burdeshaw

To the Dixon family, I have known you guys most of my life. We have our own lives now and don't stay in touch as much. I recently saw Matt at our daughter's softball game and was saddened to learn of Logan's illness. I grew up with Thad who was my best friend from down the street until age 9. I moved away until age 19 at which time I looked up my old friend. Thad sparked my curiousity in the fire department and Danny subsequently encouraged me to go to EMT school which today is my career as a flight paramedic. The Dixon's have been like family to me for most of my life. There has been many good memories made. During this time of greiving one can hope that it becomes a time of reflections and healing. May God be with you during this time. Sincerely Jeff, Mackenzie and Parker

Memories of your dear Mom, my friend, Louise flooded me tonight as I saw the photo show. She would be sooo proud of all of you! I remember so well the fact that he would be at breakfast every morning at the old Candler Hospital cafeteria to spend a little extra time with his lovely wife. During her life and illness he showed her the greatest love and respect. You were all her heart.. her greatest joy. They are together again... May your memories give you sweet comfort.

It is with a heavy heart that I and my band of brothers morn the death of MAJ Logan Dixon. And yet as I ponder my many memories of serving under him in the 11th Special Force Group I can't help but to smile.
